About

I am a survivor of childhood sexual, emotional, and physical abuse. As an adult, I was raped multiple times, beaten and left for dead, and trafficked to work in the sex industry. It has taken quite a while for me to come to terms with my story and I still deal with the ripple effects. Through the loving support of my partner and encouragement from a few close friends, I am finally on the path to freedom.

I write about my journey in hopes that it will help someone else who has gone through something similar. Moreover, in utter defiance of those who sought to destroy me, it is my life’s mission to put a public face on child abuse, rape, domestic violence, and human trafficking. This is my story, in my own words. Some of it is terrible, but by no longer keeping it in the dark, I will turn it into something good and learn to thrive for the first time in my life.
